The TEA (Tax) Demonstrations

April 15th has passed and with it a large group of demonstrations around the country using tea bags as an example of the government's taxation without representation. Some days later, a few members of large media organizations haver reported these events, generally with derision and ridicule. While I am strongly in favor of what these demonstrations represented, I do wonder why anyone would bother with them at all - I can't grasp putting forth the effort when the result would be so predictable.

These demonstrators were trying to get the attention of just who exactly? Government? The demonstrators must have thought that their message would be carried to government by the media. This line of thinking could not possibly work unless the demonstrators thought that the media would fairly report their actions and that the government would actually care what some constituents thought. There are those who still think this way?

Might want to wake up and look around at what 52% of the voters elected. The media will always support the current administration, and the current administration working through its government, does not care what you think or what you expect. Either accept that and deal with it as you obey with your actions, decide you are a sheep and embrace the "change," or be a wolf, quit wasting time with futile protests and decide what you will and will not do.

Wolves decide, they do not obey. Take this any way you wish. Regardless of what you consider yourself, you do have free will and you can make your own decisions. Make them.
